Performance
The Ford Ranger lineup has been recently redesigned to provide drivers with a stronger, smoother, and more capable performance, making traveling, towing, and hauling easier for you. There're multiple engine options available across the Ranger lineup. The standard Ranger powertrain is a more athletic and responsive 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It produces 270-horsepower and 310 pounds-feet of torque, making every trip to New Caney, TX easier.
The XLT and Lariat models use a stronger version of the same engine that produces 315-horsepower and 400 pounds-feet of torque. The Ranger Raptor models use a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 405-horsepower and 430 pounds-feet of torque, allowing it to standout from the rest of the Ranger models with a bold performance that you can enjoy on or off the road.
All the Raptor models use a smooth and responsive 10-speed automatic transmission, keeping your travels anywhere smooth and responsive. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, allowing you to maintain a more commanding performance behind the wheel. Four-wheel drive comes standard on the Raptor and is available on most models, providing you with better off-road ability and better traction when facing poor weather conditions around Liberty, TX.
Towing and Hauling
If you need a smaller truck that can tow like half-ton trucks can, choose a new Ranger model. The Ford Ranger can tow up to 7,5000 pounds when properly equipped, making it easy to tow a work trailer, boat, ATVs, campers, and more. There's also up to 1,860 pounds of payload capacity, letting you load up the bed of the truck with equipment of materials, and bring your whole crew along.
